WAXING TRAINING

Welcome to my training page.  Training is a huge passion of mine and something I have been doing since 2001.  I hold a VTCT level 3 in Assessing Vocational Achievement and am an accredited lecturer through The Guild of Beauty Therapists.  

In 2001, my career took the most positive turn and I became a trainer for The Steiner Academy in London (now The Onboard Spa) until 2006. With a 10 year detour to New Zealand and Australia, I continued my work contracting as a trainer for many well-known brands both nationally and internationally. I now train exclusively for Outback Organics, running their waxing courses here in Somerset.  

My courses are all aimed at qualified therapists, holding a minimum of level 2 in waxing. I've observed a particular pattern within the UK beauty sector, that the majority of therapists lack confidence in the art of waxing and therefore tend to not enjoy doing the treatments. My waxing courses will turn your confidence around in a positive way, with a choice of workshops to update, polish, and fine-tune your practice.  I also offer Guild accreditations in Male and Female Intimate Waxing.

I have a casual style to my training. I prefer to do exclusive one-to-one education to enable full focus on the student, however, my group classes can hold up to 6.

I understand how to identify different learning styles so that your preferred program can be taught to you with as much understanding, ease, and enjoyment as possible.  

Although the course experience is casual and relaxed, my fundamental objective is always the health, safety, and hygiene practice that will become second nature to you for all hair removal services you offer.

I can provide training within your salon (travel & relevant accommodations at your cost if required) or you can attend a course or workshop at the dates offered at our Education Center in Somerset.
